OilRepublic is Nigeria’s dedicated marketplace and jobs board for the oil and gas sector, connecting buyers, sellers, employers, and job seekers across the industry’s equipment, services, and talent supply chain.

The platform is owned and operated by DMTS Energy LTD, a company registered in Nigeria. References to “OilRepublic,” “we,” “us,” or “our” throughout this site refer to DMTS Energy LTD.

OilRepublic brings two core functions together on one platform:

• Marketplace listings— sellers advertise oil and gas equipment, materials, and services to a network of industry buyers.
• Jobs board— employers post openings (full-time, part-time, contract, internship, or freelance) and job seekers build profiles and apply directly on the platform.

Every seller and every job seeker has a public profile that builds a track record over time. Sellers who complete our verification process receive an approved-seller status, which is displayed on their listings.

• Create a free account as a seller, job seeker, or employer.
• Sellers apply for seller approval; approved sellers can post listings visible across the marketplace.
• Employers post jobs and review applicants directly from their dashboard.
• Job seekers build a profile once and apply to multiple listings.
• Payments for paid features on the platform are processed securely through Paystack.

We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). This section summarizes our practices; full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

• What we collect: account details (name, email, phone number), profile information you choose to add, listing and job posting content, and payment references from Paystack (we do not store your card details).
• Why we collect it: to operate your account, show your public seller or seeker profile, connect buyers with sellers and employers with candidates, process payments, and send service notifications.
• Who can see it: your public profile and listings are visible to other users; account and payment details are never shared with other users and are only accessible to authorized OilRepublic staff.
• Your rights: under the NDPA, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us using the details below.
• Retention: we keep account data for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward as required for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We build OilRepublic with the following protections in place:

• Email verification on signup to confirm account ownership before full access is granted.
• Seller approval review so buyers can identify verified sellers before transacting.
• Encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the entire platform.
• Secure payment processingvia Paystack — OilRepublic never sees or stores your card or bank details.
• Access controls restricting who on our team can view sensitive account data, logged and limited to what is necessary for support and moderation.
• Ongoing monitoring for suspicious account activity, fraudulent listings, and abuse of the platform.

No online platform can guarantee absolute security. We encourage users to use a strong, unique password and to never share their login details with anyone.

If you encounter a suspicious listing, a fraudulent job posting, a seller or employer asking for payment outside the platform, or any activity that looks like a scam, please report it right away.

• Email report@oilrepublic.ng with the listing link, username, or job post in question and a short description of what happened.
• Include screenshots where possible — they help us investigate and act faster.
• Never send money, card details, or one-time passwords to anyone through OilRepublic. We will never ask for your password by email or phone.

Reports are reviewed by our team, and accounts found to violate our terms are suspended or removed. Where relevant, we cooperate with Nigerian law enforcement on serious cases such as fraud.
